Donovan assistant leaving Florida to take over at Chattanooga

Florida assistant coach Matt McCall has accepted Chattanooga's head coaching position.

McCall replaces Will Wade, who went 40-25 in two seasons. Chattanooga went 22-10 in 2014-15.

Wade left Chattanooga to take over at VCU, where he had previously worked as an assistant.

McCall has spent the last four seasons as an assistant on Billy Donovan's Florida staff. He previously spent three seasons as an assistant at Florida Atlantic. McCall, a former student manager at Florida, worked as the Gators' director of basketball operations from 2006-08.
