Donlan puts Youngstown St. up over Robert Morris 75-74

MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (AP) Matt Donlan scored 21 points, including the game-winning 3-pointer with 18 seconds to play, for Youngstown State in a 75-74 win over Robert Morris on Wednesday night.

The Penguins (4-4) led through most of the second period but fell behind 74-70 with 47 seconds to go. Francisco Santiago made two free throws and Donlan sank the 3 to get Penguins the win.

Youngstown State trailed 34-31 at the half but a Brett Frantz 3-pointer early in the second period put them up 39-38 with 16:30 to play. The teams battled back-and-forth after that and Robert Morris took a 71-70 lead with 1:54 remaining.

Donlan was 7 of 12 from the field including seven 3-pointers for the Penguins. Santiago added 20 points with six assists.

Kavon Stewart scored 21 points with five assists and four rebounds for the Colonials (2-6).
