Jason Calliste hit two free throws with 12 seconds left as Detroit rallied from 10 points down in the final 3 minutes to edge Milwaukee 58-57 on Friday night.

Ray McCallum scored 18 points for the Titans (14-12, 8-6 Horizon League), who have won two in a row and five of six. Doug Anderson and Calliste added 12 each. Eli Holman grabbed 11 rebounds.

Tony Meier's 17 points led the Panthers (15-11, 8-6), who have dropped their last three.

After Paris Gulley's jumper put the Panthers ahead 53-43 with 2:54 left, Detroit used a 13-4 run keyed by six points from McCallum to cut it to 57-56 with 13 seconds to go.

After a Milwaukee turnover, Calliste sank his key free throws. The Panthers had a final chance, but Kaylon Williams missed at the buzzer.

Detroit won despite shooting only 36 percent (21 of 58) and missing all 13 3-pointers.
