Brian Stafford scored 25 points and made six 3-pointers to lead Denver to a 76-57 victory against Louisiana-Monroe on Saturday.

Brett Olson added 15 points on five 3-pointers for the Pioneers (20-8, 10-5 Sun Belt), who shot 55.3 percent (26 of 47) from the floor.

Denver made 16 shots from behind the arc and dished out a season-high 22 assists. It has shot 55 percent from the field in the last five games.

Fred Brown had 15 points, Charles Winborne 14 and Marcelis Hansberry 12 for the Warhawks (2-25, 1-13).

The Pioneers led 37-29 at the break and took control with a 19-5 run in the second half. Stafford and Olson combined for four 3-pointers and 12 points during the surge, which made the score 56-34 with 11:51 remaining.

Chris Udofia had eight points, eight rebounds and four blocks for Denver.
