Davis, Radford beat Charleston Southern 80-73

RADFORD, Va. (AP) Rashun Davis had 20 points, nine assists, six rebounds and three steals on Wednesday night, and Radford beat Charleston Southern 80-73.

YaYa Anderson scored a game-high 23 with 5-of-11 3-point shooting and Caleb Tanner added 12 points for the Highlanders (9-7, 2-2 Big South Conference).

Ed Polite Jr.'s dunk capped Radford's scoring at 80-61 with 4:07 left. Charleston Southern (5-10, 1-3) scored the last 12 while the Highlanders missed their last six shots, but the Buccaneers were unable to close within single digits until Demetrius Pollard's 3-pointer with 11 seconds left.

Radford took control with a 19-0 run that started on Polite's basket at the 11:40 mark which broke a 55-all tie. Davis capped it with 6:22 left and a 74-55 Highlanders lead.

Raemond Robinson led the Buccaneers with 15 points. Aaron Wheeler and Pollard added 12 points each.
