NEW YORK (AP) Trey Davis converted 10 straight free throws in the final minute as UMass held off Fordham for a 76-72 Atlantic-10 victory Wednesday night.

The Minutemen, now winners of three straight, took the lead for good on a 3-pointer by Jabarie Hinds with 13:17 left to play in the game, but they couldn't shake Fordham. Hinds dunked with 9:37 left to make it an 11-point lead, but the Rams answered with a 9-2 run to cut their deficit to four points with under seven minutes to play.

Mandell Thomas cut the UMass lead to five, 70-65, with 1:10 left but Fordham was forced to foul and Davis did not miss.

Davis finished with 26 points and Derrick Gordon added 17 points and 13 rebounds to lead UMass (13-9, 6-3 A-10).
