Jake Cohen and JP Kuhlman each scored 16 points to help Davidson easily beat Furman 86-65 on Saturday night.

De'Mon Brooks had 15 points and eight rebounds, and Nik Cochran also had 15 points for the Wildcats (6-1, 2-0 Southern Conference), who have won four straight games.

Davidson, which shot 52.9 percent (27 of 51) from the floor and went 25 of 29 from the free throw line, led by as many as 16 points in the first half before taking a 41-32 lead into halftime.

Furman went on an 8-0 run that was capped by Richard Brown's layup to cut Davidson's lead to 44-40 with 16:58 left. But the Wildcats pushed their lead to 70-61, and then scored nine straight points to pull ahead by 18 points to put the game out of reach.

Bryant Irwin scored 21 points off the bench for Furman (3-4, 0-2).
