A trio of Davidson players scored 17 points apiece, and the top-seeded Wildcats rolled past Furman 73-54 on Saturday night in the quarterfinals of the Southern Conference tournament.

South division regular-season champions Davidson (23-7), which had a first round bye, advances to the semifinal round on Sunday.

De'Mon Brooks, Chris Czerapowicz and Tyler Kalinoski all had 17 points each for the Wildcats, who have won three straight games. Kalinoski knocked down five 3-pointers for the Wildcats.

Davidson never trailed in this one, opening on a 21-8 run and taking a 10-point lead at intermission. The Wildcats outscored the Paladins 36-27 in the second half to seal it.

The Wildcats edged the Paladins 47.4 percent (27 of 57) to 37.7 percent (20 of 53) from the floor.

The Reddick brothers, Charlie and Colin, scored 10 points apiece to pace the fifth-seeded Paladins (15-16) of the South division.
