Chattanooga led most of the first half, but never by more than six points. A pair of layups and a free throw by Jake Cohen enabled Davidson to go to halftime tied 28-28 after trailing 27-23 at the 2:59 mark.

Cohen and De'Mon Brooks had nine rebounds each to help give the Wildcats a 50-38 advantage on the boards.
