Davidson 70, N.C.-Wilmington 67

JP Kuhlman scored 21 points, including two free throws with 1.2 seconds remaining, to lead Davidson to a 70-67 victory over winless UNC Wilmington on Saturday.
Kuhlman's free throws clinched the win for the Wildcats (4-1) after Cedrick Williams of the Seahawks (0-5) failed to tie the game a second earlier when he missed the second of two tries.
In a game that had 15 lead changes and was tied 13 times, including nine ties in the second half, Davidson went ahead to stay, 68-66, on a jumper by Chris Czerapowicz with 2:06 left.
Keith Rendleman, who led UNC Wilmington with 21 points and nine rebounds, fouled out on the play, but Czerapowicz missed the free throw that could have increased the lead to three points.
De'Mon Brooks added 14 points and Nik Cochran 13 for Davidson, which had Brooks, Jake Cohen and Clint Mann all foul out.
