HANOVER, N.H. (AP) Brandon McDonnell came off the bench to score 17 points in 16 minutes to help lead Dartmouth to a 74-65 win over Hartford on Saturday.

Connor Boehm added 15 points and 11 rebounds, Miles Wright finished with 13 and Cameron Smith had 11 for Dartmouth (2-3). The Big Green had a 51-28 rebounding advantage. It's the highest rebounding total Dartmouth has had in a game in three years.

Dartmouth improved to 7-10 in the series that started in 1984.

The Hawks tied it at 52 on J.R. Lynch's free throws with 4:59 left. But a 3-point play by McDonnell, Evan Boudreaux's jumper and a Tommy Carpenter layup gave the Big Green a seven-point lead that wouldn't be challenged the rest of the way.

Pancake Thomas lead Hartford (3-6) with 21 points. Evan Cooper had 14 and George Blagojevic had 12.
