Ronnie Dixon scored 21 points, dished out six assists and made two free throws down the stretch to lift Dartmouth to a 71-68 win over Army on Saturday night.

Dartmouth (3-5) trailed 64-60 with 4:05 left in the second half when Army's Julian Simmons hit a jumper. The Big Green pulled ahead with five straight points on a 3-pointer by R.J. Griffin and David Rufful's jumper, until Army regained the lead on Jordan Springer's layup.

But that was the last time Army (5-5) would hold a lead. Dartmouth's Clive Weeden tied the game at 66-66 on a free throw and Dixon put the Green Wave up for good with two free throws with 52 seconds left.

Rufful, who finished with 14 points and seven rebounds, made a jumper off Dixon's assist to push Dartmouth's lead to 70-66 with 21 seconds left. Dixon went 6 of 7 from beyond the arc.

Ella Ellis led Army with 14 points.
