Kenny Daniels scored 11 points and Cal State Northridge used a strong defensive effort to beat Cal Poly 67-55 Wednesday . Willie Galick added 11 rebounds and eight points for Northridge (11-10, 7-3 Big West), which held the Mustangs to 21 percent shooting in the first half and led 38-16 at halftime. Ten of Northridge's 12 players scored. Cal Poly (6-15, 3-8) didn't score more than four consecutive points in the first half and suffered scoring droughts of 4:32 and 6:02 as Northridge built a 24-6 early lead. Justin Brown scored all 14 of his points in the second half, helping Cal Poly outscore the Matadors by 10 after halftime. Titus Shelton added 11 points for Cal Poly.
