BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (AP) Shonn Miller netted a double-double, scoring 11 points with 11 rebounds, to lead Cornell to a 68-54 victory over Binghamton on Saturday.

Robert Hatter added 14 points and had three steals for the Big Red (4-4). Devin Cherry had 12 points and six rebounds.

Cornell went on a 20-5 run early with Miller, Hatter, Cherry, Darryl Smith and JoJo Fallas combining for six-straight 3-pointers to lead 23-12 with 10:57 left in the first period. The Big Red was up 35-27 at the break.

The Bearcats (1-6) came within three points early in the second period before Cornell pulled away for good on an 18-4 run to go ahead by 17, 53-36, with just under 12 minutes to play.

Yosef Yacob had 15 points and four assists for the Bearcats. Romello Walker added 10 points and led the team with seven rebounds.
