Cook scores season high 27, Princeton beats Dartmouth 83-70

PRINCETON, N.J. (AP) Steven Cook made four 3-pointers and scored a season-high 27 points to help Princeton beat Dartmouth 83-70 on Saturday, a day after defeating Harvard.

Cook and Spencer Weisz combined to make eight of the Tigers' 13 3-pointers. Weisz finished with 14 points and Cook was 10 of 15 from the field.

Henry Caruso added 17 points for Princeton (14-5, 4-1 Ivy League). Cook and Weisz also dished out five assists apiece as the Tigers had 21 assists on 28 made field goals.

Princeton held a 46-35 lead at halftime behind Cook's 13 points.

Dartmouth pulled to 77-70 with 3:04 left after two free throws by Taylor Johnson but the Big Green did not score again. Caruso answered with two free throws and Cook made a layup to go back up by 11.

Evan Boudreaux had 17 points for Dartmouth (7-13, 1-5), which made just 22 of 59 field goals (37 percent).
