Columbia's Jones named BC associate

Columbia coach Joe Jones is leaving to become the associate head
coach at Boston College.
"I am truly grateful for my time here at Columbia,”
Jones said in a statement. "I loved it here.”
Jones, previously an assistant at Villanova, has an 86-108
mark in seven seasons at Columbia.
He took over a program that was 2-25 overall and 0-14 in the
Ivy League.
Jones joins Steve Donahue’s staff at BC that also
includes Penn assistant John Gallagher and Nat Graham, who came
with Donahue from Cornell.
