Columbia 91, Brown 74
Noruwa Agho scored 31 points to win the Ivy League scoring title as Columbia defeated Brown 91-74 Saturday night in the teams' regular-season finale.
Agho, a junior guard, entered the weekend tied with Yale's Greg Mangano for the conference scoring lead and both scored 20 Friday night in Yale's 87-81 double-overtime win over Columbia. Mangano scored 18 Saturday night as Yale lost 68-55 to Cornell.
Agho scored 24 of his points in the first half, when the Lions (15-13, 6-8) shot 60 percent (21 of 35) and built a 51-31 lead. They led by as many as 25 points in the second half and never by fewer than 13.
Meiko Lyles added 16 points and Brian Barbour 15 for Columbia.
Peter Sullivan and Andrew McCarthy scored 21 points each for Brown (11-17, 4-10) and Sean McGonagill scored 14 points with nine assists. Sullivan became Brown's fourth-leading career scorer with 1,361 points.
