Anthony Stitt and Antwaine Wiggins scored 12 points apiece, leading College of Charleston past The Citadel 55-47 on Saturday in the regular-season finale for both teams.

Andrew Lawrence added 11 points for the Cougars (19-11, 10-8 Southern Conference), who finished the season on a three-game win streak.

The teams were tied at halftime, but Charleston got ahead 40-35 with just under seven minutes left to play. The Cougars increased that advantage with a 5-0 run over the next three minutes, and cruised from there.

The Cougars outshot The Citadel 43.9 percent (18 of 41) to 33.3 percent (14 of 42) from the floor.

Mike Groselle led The Citadel (6-23, 3-15), tallying a double-double with 14 points and 16 boards. The Bulldogs came in on their only two-game winning streak of the season, in the wake of an 11-game losing slide.
