Desmond Holloway and Mike Holmes each scored 18 points and Coastal Carolina routed Radford 77-59 on Friday for its ninth win in a row.

The Chanticleers (11-2, 2-0 Big South Conference) closed out the first half on a 16-2 run to lead 37-24. Leading 41-31 in the second half, the Chanticleers used a 16-3 run to grab their largest lead of the game at 57-34 after two free throws by Brandon Crawford with 11:41 to play. The team led by at least 15 points the rest of the way.

Anthony Raffa added 14 points, Danny Nieman had 13 and Chad Gray grabbed 11 rebounds for the Chanticleers, who have won two straight in the series.

Blake Smith scored 12 points, and Evan Faulkner and Jareal Smith each added 11 for the Highlanders (3-10, 0-3) who have not beaten an NCAA Division I team this season. It was the first loss for the Highlanders in Conway in the past three meetings.
