Preston Dodson scored a career-high 24 points and Lorne Merthie added 19 to lead Campbell past Longwood 93-77 on Saturday.
The Fighting Camels (3-3) jumped out to a 12-1 lead at the 16:13 mark of the opening half and led by as many as 13, 33-20, with 6:48 seconds to play before halftime.
Campbell shot 14 for 27 from the floor (51.9 percent) in the first half, but the Lancers (3-3) ended the half on a 14-7 run of their own as they trailed 40-34 at the break.
Longwood center Antwan Carter tied the score at 58-58 on a jumper with 11:16 left to play, but the Fighting Camels finished the game on a 35-19 run.
Junard Hartley added 15 points for Campbell, Amir Celestin had 12.
Four of Longwood's starters scored in double figures. Carter scored 14 to lead the way, Jeremiah Bowman and Aaron Mitchell added 13 apiece and Jan van der Kooij 12.
