BERKELEY, Calif. (AP) California forward Christian Behrens will not return for his final year of eligibility and will pursue a professional career.
Behrens, who announced his decision Thursday to leave school, is on track to graduate next month with a degree in American Studies.
Behrens says he cherished his time at Cal but wants to pursue a pro career.
Behrens played in 30 games this season and started 17. He averaged 4.5 points and 3.3 rebounds per game.
