Brock Zylstra scored 26 points and Anson Winder added 20 to lead BYU to a 93-78 victory against Buffalo on Tuesday night.

Noah Hartsock had 16 points and Matt Carlino 10 for the Cougars (8-3).

Mitchell Watt had 18 points and eight rebounds for the Bulls (6-2). Javon McCrea scored 16 points, Zach Filzen 14 and Dave Barnett 10.

The game was tied 37-all before BYU outscored Buffalo 10-2 in the final 3:56 of the first half. Transition layups by Zylstra and Josh Sharp highlighted the surge; the Cougars enjoyed a 14-0 advantage in fast-break points for the game.

Trailing by eight points at the break, the Bulls got no closer in the second half.

Both teams shot well. Buffalo was 28 of 53 (52.8 percent) from the floor, including 8 of 16 from 3-point range; BYU shot 34 of 64 (53.1 percent) and 13 of 29 behind the arc.
