Alex Francis scored 23 points and Bryant defeated St. Francis (Pa.) 59-56 on Saturday, snapping a 12-game losing streak.

The Bulldogs (2-13, 1-3 Northeast Conference) trailed 47-40 with 6:38 remaining before scoring 10 straight, sparked by Corey Maynard. Maynard scored all five of his points during the spurt, including a layup to put Bryant ahead 50-47 with 4:31 remaining.

St. Francis (3-12, 2-2) trailed the rest of the way. Bryant went 4 for 4 from the free-throw line and the Red Flash missed a free throw and a 3-pointer in the final minute.

Claybrin McMath added 13 points for Bryant, which outrebounded the Red Flash 41-34, and outscored them 16-2 on second-chance points. The Bulldogs scored 19 points off 12 turnovers.

Scott Eatherton led the Red Flash with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Anthony Ervin added 12 points and Kameron Ritter 10 for St. Francis, which lost its fifth straight.
