Adrian Williams scored 12 points to help Brown cruise to a 69-48 win Friday over the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Williams was 4-for-10 from 3-point range while the Bears (4-3) shot 41 percent (13-for-32) as a team from beyond the arc in the Philly Hoop Group Classic. Brown jumped out to a 12-0 lead in the first 7 minutes and led 29-17 at halftime as the Devils shot 25 percent (7-for-28) in the first half compared to 35.5 percent for the Bears (11-for-31). Brown pulled ahead 54-27 with 8:31 left. Matt Mullery and Matt Sullivan added 11 points apiece for the Bears. Brown scored 23 points off 15 Devils turnovers, while Philadelphia Sciences scored only five points off seven Bears miscues. Adewale Adefemi scored 10 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for the Devils (0-3), a Division II school. Alec McClure added 10 points.
