Jordon Crawford scored 15 points and Bowling Green used a big first half to rout Northern Illinois 65-40 on Saturday night.

Bowling Green got off to an 18-1 start on its way to a 41-16 halftime lead. The Falcons were never threatened in the second half as the lead remained above 16 points.

Scott Thomas added 14 points for the Falcons (11-11, 5-4 Mid-American Conference), who have won two in a row for the first time since November.

The Falcons held an opponent to less than 30 percent shooting for the first time this season. The Huskies made only 29.2 percent (14 of 48) of their field goal attempts while Bowling Green shot 48.8 percent (20 of 41).

Northern Illinois (2-19, 1-8) went without a double-digit scorer but Abdel Nader had 10 rebounds. It was the third time the Huskies have been held to 40 points or less this season.
