LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) Louisville coach Rick Pitino says that junior forward Wayne Blackshear has a concussion and will not travel with the No. 14 Cardinals for Wednesday night's game at Houston.

Pitino said Tuesday that Blackshear sustained the injury after being elbowed by teammate Akoy Agau during Monday's practice. The coach added he doesn't believe the concussion is serious but said Blackshear won't travel because ''it takes a lot out of you. I think he'll be fine in a couple of days.''

Blackshear started Saturday against Central Florida for the first time in five games, registering 10 points and six rebounds in 31 minutes of the 87-70 victory. He's averaging 9.7 points and 3.4 rebounds per game for Louisville (18-4, 7-2 American Athletic Conference).

Louisville beat Houston (11-11, 3-6) 91-52 on Jan. 16.
