Bishop's OT winner lifts Saint Louis over George Mason 79-77

FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) Jermaine Bishop had 20 points Wednesday night and scored the game-winning jumper with five seconds left in overtime to lift Saint Louis over George Mason 79-77.

Mike Crawford and Marcus Bartley each had 3-pointers to help the Billikens (9-16, 4-9 Atlantic 10) hang on late in regulation after squandering a 19-point, first-half lead.

Ash Yacoubou got Saint Louis started in overtime with a layup and free throw. Kameron Murrell's free throws pulled the Patriots (9-17, 3-10) within 75-74 with 2:19 left. Bishop pushed the lead back to three, and then Murrell tied it on a 3-pointer with 32 seconds left.

George Mason led only twice in the game - Otis Livingston's 3-point play made it 67-66 with 2:42 left in regulation and Jalen Jenkins' jumper made it 70-69 at 1:33.

Jenkins - who finished with 18 - tied it at 72 with 44 seconds left in the second half.
