Kyrie Sutton scored 18 points and Mahamoud Jabbi pulled down 17 rebounds to lead Binghamton past Hartford 77-47 on Wednesday night, snapping a nine-game losing steak.
Jimmy Gray scored 17 points, Moussa Camara added 15 and Jabbi had 12 for the Bearcats (7-19, 4-9 America East Conference), who shot 31 of 56 from the field (55.4 percent), including 10 of 16 from 3-point range (62.5 percent).
Gray and Camara combined to go 10 for 13 from beyond the arc.
Binghamton used a 19-5 run at the beginning of the second half to turn a 30-23 lead into a 49-28 advantage with 14:29 left to play.
Morgan Sabia scored 11 points and was the only player in double figures for the Hawks (8-18, 5-8), who have lost six of their last seven games.
The Bearcats outrebounded Hartford 45-15, posted a 23-8 edge in second-chance points and held a 36-22 advantage on points in the paint.
