Adrien Coleman scored 19 points to lead five Bethune-Cookman players in double figures and the Wildcats defeated South Carolina State 82-76 on Saturday.
Anthony Breeze added 15 points, Kevin Dukes and Garrius Holloman chipped in 12 each and Ricky Johnson had 11 for Bethune-Cookman (6-12, 3-1 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference).
The Wildcats, averaging 58.8 points per game coming in, shot 51.8 percent from the field (19 of 56).
Coleman was 8-for-12 shooting, and Bethune-Cookman made 6 of 10 from 3-point range.
It was the 11th straight loss for the Bulldogs, who were giving up 79.9 points per game.
Khalif Toombs led the Bulldogs (4-13, 0-4) with 16 points. Presano Bell added 15, Luka Radovic 14 and Shaquil Barber 12 for South Carolina State.
The Bulldogs trailed 46-35 at halftime and shot 54.2 percent from the field (26 of 48).
