Austin Peay coasts to 107-67 win over Oakland City

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) Josh Robinson scored 17 points to lead seven Austin Peay players reaching double figures Monday night in a 107-67 win over Division II-member Oakland City University.

Austin Peay (1-1) took control early, piling up a 23-point lead midway through the opening half on a dunk from Steve Harris to cap a 17-4 run that made it 43-20. The Governors shot 62 percent from the field, held a 65-38 advantage at the break and then continued to pull away over the final 20 minutes.

Zach Glotta and John Murry added 15 points apiece for Austin Peay, Assane Diop had 12 points and Kenny Jones, Jared Savage and Dre'Kalo Clayton all finished with 10.

Oakland City got 15 points from Andrew Scott, while Addison Wagler added 13, Tad Thompson had 12 and Logan Worthington 10.
