Drake Reed scored 18 points to lead Austin Peay to a 67-50 victory over Murray State in the semifinals of the Ohio Valley Conference tournament on Friday night. Wes Channels added 17 for the Governors (19-12), who face Morehead State in Saturday's championship after the Eagles upset top-seeded Tennessee-Martin 63-55 in the other semifinal. This is Austin Peay's third straight trip to the OVC tournament finals, and the Governors are looking for a second straight tournament title. Austin Peay led by as many as 22, shooting 62.5 percent from the field in the second half. Murray State shot 32.8 percent for the game, including going 0-for-15 from 3-point range. Murray State made a run to close within 57-44, but Austin Peay hit 9 of 12 foul shots down the stretch. Danero Thomas led the Racers (19-12) with 19 points and Isacc Miles had 13.
