Jeremy Hence scored 22 points and Army defeated Binghamton 72-58 on Tuesday night.

The Black Knights (4-1) fell behind 11-1 early before going on a 20-5 run. Hence's layup capped the spurt for a 21-16 lead with 9:50 left in the first half.

The Bearcats (1-3) cut it to two on Chretien Lukusa's 3-pointer 37 seconds later. However, Binghamton, wouldn't get any closer.

Mitch McDonald had nine assists and just one turnover in 20 minutes for the Black Knights, who shot 51.9 percent from the field (27 of 52).

Army had seven turnovers, compared to 14 by Binghamton.

Josh Herbeck scored 15 points and Julian Simmons added 14 for the Black Knights, who have scored at least 60 points in each of their first five games. It is the longest streak since a six-game run in 2006-07.

The Bearcats were led by Lukusa with 22 points and Kyrie Sutton with 14.
