Arkansas State's defense held Denver to 13 first-half points and the Red Wolves went on to an easy 60-35 win over the Pioneers Saturday night.

Donald Boone scored 10 points to lead Arkansas State (13-13, 7-4), now 11-0 at home this season and just a half-game behind Denver in the Sun Belt's West Division. He was the only player to score in double figures for the Red Wolves.

Chris Udofia led Denver (11-12, 7-3) with 11 points and nine rebounds. The Pioneers never led in the game and made just four shots in the first half. They shot 25 percent from the field in the game. Arkansas State led 33-13 at halftime and 53-20 with 9 minutes to play.

Arkansas State avenged a 74-36 loss at Denver on Jan. 20.
