Allen Smith and Tyree Glass scored 13 points each to lead Arkansas-Pine Bluff to a 66-62 win over Southern on Saturday.

Tavaris Washington added eight points and 12 rebounds for the Golden Lions (9-14, 9-3 Southwestern Athletic Conference), who have won three games in a row.

Holding onto a one-point lead late in the game, a dunk from Washington pushed the Golden Lions' lead to 64-61 with 53 seconds left.

Southern's Jameel Grace was sent to the free-throw line with 29 seconds remaining, but made only one of two, making the score 64-62.

Ricky Parks then made one of two for Arkansas-Pine Bluff, and Southern's Doug Scott missed a 3-pointer on the other end that would have tied the game. Washington grabbed the rebound and made one of two foul shots for the final score.

Bobby Lee scored 16 points to lead the Jaguars (4-20, 2-10).
