ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) Joe Cremo scored 16 points, Peter Hooley had 14 points and 12 rebounds and Albany (N.Y.) snapped Stony Brook's nation-leading 18-game winning streak in an 82-70 victory Wednesday night.

Stony Brook still holds a two-game lead over Albany in the America East Conference standings.

Albany (22-7, 11-3) held a 37-30 lead at halftime after hitting 5 of 7 3-pointers in front of a sellout crowd of 4,538 at SEFCU Arena.

Jameel Warney became the all-time leading scorer in Stony Brook's program history, passing Emeka Smith (1,978) who played from 1989-93 when the Seawolves competed in Division II. Warney needed just eight points to surpass Smith and finished with 14. He already holds the school records for total rebounds and blocks.
