Logan Aronhalt scored 30 points and Albany (N.Y.) defeated Niagara 75-65 in a Legends Classic game Saturday.

Aronhalt made 11 of 16 shots from the field, including 6 of 9 on 3-pointers, to spearhead the Great Danes' 53.8-percent shooting for the game. Mike Black came off the bench to add 19 points as Albany (2-5) beat the Purple Eagles (2-3) for the first time in three meetings.

Albany led by three at halftime and built its advantage to 14 points before the Purple Eagles whittled away at the lead. But unlike Mount St. Mary's, which squandered a 10-point halftime lead in a Niagara victory Monday, the Great Danes held firm to the end. The closest Niagara got was seven points.

Kashief Edwards had 19 points and Malcolm Lemmons 15 for Niagara.
