Air Force routs Wright State 55-34
Michael Lyons scored 15 points and Air Force put cold-shooting Wright State away in the first half Wednesday night in a 55-34 victory.
Michal Lyons finished 5-for-10 from the field, including three 3-pointers, for Air Force (4-2). Mike Fitzgerald added nine points as the Falcons ended a two-game losing streak.
Air Force made 9 of 25 3-pointers.
Cole Darling led Wright State (3-6) with seven points. Julius Mays had six for the Raiders, losers of four of their last five and all three of their road games this season.
Wright State shot a season-low 20 percent from the field.
Air Force's defense smothered the Raiders in the first half, limiting them to 19 percent shooting, in building a 27-13 lead at the break. Wright State missed nine straight shots in one stretch.
