Air Force blows out Western State (Col) 90-60

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) Kamryn Williams had 17 points to lead Air Force to a 90-60 lead over Western State (Col) on Saturday.

Max Yon finished with 11 points and four assists, including a pair of 3s for Air Force (3-1). The Falcons won the assist battle 30-17. Williams went 7-of-8 shooting to contribute to the Falcons shooting 67.4 percent from the field.

Danny Hopkins contributed 13 points and eight rebounds for Western State, including three 3-pointers, and Dominique Wright and Devin Kastrup each added 12 points.

Trevor Lyons converted a layup and free throw on a 3-point play midway through the first half to put Air Force up 28-7. Williams scored 15 of his 17 points in the first half. The Falcons added to its lead with a 10-2 run to start out the second half capped by a 3-pointer by Ryan Manning, then pulled away.
