Air Force beats The Citadel 68-55

WEST POINT, N.Y. (AP) Max Yon hit four 3-pointers and finished with 16 points to lead Air Force past The Citadel 68-55 in the All-Military Classic on Saturday.

Justin Hammonds and Hayden Graham added nine points apiece for Air Force (1-1). The Falcons made 24 of 43 shots, including 9 of 20 from 3-point range, and outrebounded The Citadel 34-22.

Marshall Harris III led The Citadel (0-2) with 16 points, including three 3-pointers, and Ashton Moore added 10. The Bulldogs made just 21 of 51 field goal attempts and went 9 for 19 from the free throw line.

Air Force led 29-24 at halftime and started the second half on a 9-2 run. Williams scored six points during the run and Yon capped it with a 3-pointer for a 38-26 lead.

On Friday, Air Force lost to Army 84-78 in its opener and The Citadel fell to Virginia Military Institute 66-65.
