Yes, he did it his way. Frank Sinatra, the ultimate crooner, would have turned 100 years old on Saturday.
The legendary singer from New Jersey also had an interesting role at one of the most memorable events in sports.
Ol' Blue Eyes himself was a photographer at the Joe Frazier-Muhammad Ali boxing match at Madison Square Garden in 1971.
Life magazine hired Sinatra for the occasion. And he was ringside for the bout, in which Frazier knocked down Ali in the 15th round en route to a unanimous decision.
