British boxer launches a table at opponent during heated press conference

Tensions boiled over during a press conference on Wednesday ahead of Saturday's British heavyweight title bout between Dereck Chisora and Dillian Whyte when Chisora pounded his fist on a table twice and then launched it in the direction of his opponent.

The table came close to hitting Whyte but was deftly deflected by a man sitting between the rivals. Warning: the video contains explicit language.

If the goal was to drum up interest for Saturday's fight, well, mission accomplished.

There will be no theatrics at a weigh-in, though, because apparently they cannot be in the same room together and will tip the scales separately.
