Three saves, goal conceded
Richey recorded three saves and allowed one goal in Saturday's 1-1 draw versus New England Revolution.
Impact
Chris Brady was called up by the United States' U23 team for its Olympic camp, leaving Richey as the Fire's best option at goalkeeper. Lets in three in loss
Richey registered two saves and allowed three goals in Monday's 3-1 defeat against Orlando City SC.
Impact

Concedes twice in loss
Richey recorded two saves and allowed two goals in Sunday's 2-1 defeat to Columbus Crew.
Impact
Richey conceded two goals in Saturday's loss, his most in a match this season. He made a crucial mistake late in the match, as he was caught too far forward and Lucas Zelarayan made him pay with a winning goal from beyond the halfway line in the 93rd minute. He faces a much easier matchup next Wednesday at Portland, a side which has scored 19 goals in 16 matches this season.

ROTOWIRE
Concedes once in loss
Richey conceded from the shot on target that he face in Saturday's 1-0 loss to Cincinnati.
Impact
Richey was deputising for first choice keeper Chris Brady, who suffered a head injury in the previous game. He made his first start since the opening game of a season, but was unable to keep out the game's only shot on target. Brady is expected back soon and Richey is therefore unlikely to get a run in the starting XI.

Two saves in draw
Richey registered two saves and allowed one goal in Sunday's 1-1 draw against New York City FC.
Impact
Richey had a nice showing for Chicago's first match of the 2023 season. At the final whistle, his efforts were sufficient to help Fire claim a draw versus a potent NYCFC squad. Up next is a challenging trip to Philly next Saturday.

Two saves in Cincinnati
Richey made two saves (two goals conceded) during Saturday's 3-2 victory over FC Cincinnati.
Impact
Richey took the place of regular Fire keeper Gabriel Slonina, who was held out of this match with a possible head injury. Chicago entered the evening already eliminated from playoff contention, but the veteran keeper still demonstrated considerable composure. This was his first appearance in league competition this season, but he could receive another start in Sunday's home finale if Slonina isn't cleared to play.

Unavailable against Atlanta
Richey (head) will once again be sidelined for Saturday's matchup with Atlanta United.

Wins in spot start Wednesday
Richey made two saves and recorded one clean sheet in the 1-0 win over FC Dallas on Wednesday.
Impact
Richey was not tested much, but when he was, he was spot on. The keeper received his second start in the past six matches. In those two starts, he has made five saves and recorded two clean sheets. He is certainly starting to make an argument for more time and with the uncertainty as to who the starter truly is, this may benefit him greatly.
