Called up with Algeria Chaibi has been called up by Algeria for the AFCON starting Dec. 21 and ending Jan. 18, according to Actu Foot Afrique.

Impact Chaibi was called by Algeria for the AFCON and will miss all the games until at least the clash against Stuttgart on Jan. 18. The midfielder has been an undisputed starter for the eagles this season, therefore his absence will force a change in the starting XI, with Hugo Larsson and Mahmoud Dahoud likely pairing in the midfield during the time of the competition.
