Impact Parejo picked up his fifth yellow card of the season in the 2-2 draw against Osasuna on Nov. 24 and should have been suspended for Girona's game. However, Villarreal decided to appeal the fifth yellow card and succeeded, with Parejo's card being rescinded, Marca reports.

Impact Parejo has started in all but two of Villarreal's matches in the current league campaign, and there's no question his creativity will be missed in midfield. With just two goals and no assists, however, he doesn't carry a lot of fantasy upside from his role as a central midfielder. Parejo's next chance to play will come against Athletic on Dec. 8.

Impact The severity of Parejo's sprain will determine how long he is sidelined but at a minimum, the midfielder should probably be expected to miss the next three weeks, which would have him return mid-February.
