Recently retired star defender Jen Beattie joins FOX Sports as a match and studio analyst for the network’s inaugural presentation of UEFA Women’s EURO 2025™. Beattie announced her retirement on January 21, 2025 following a storied 18-year career.

Her 18-year run on the pitch spanned four countries, included 14 trophies and featured 143 appearances as a member of Scotland’s Women National Team. Her Scottish tournament highlights included leading the team to a berth in the FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019™.

Following her retirement, Beattie embraced commentating and has spent time as a broadcaster across the pond and in the United States, covering soccer with Sky Sports and the BBC in England and her native Scotland, as well as CBS and the NWSL in the U.S.
