Knocks down seven kicks Koo went 4-for-4 on field-goal attempts and 3-for-3 on point-after tries during Sunday's 40-39 loss to the Cowboys.

Impact One week after Koo converted on his third onside kick attempt in as many tries, Dallas' Greg Zuerlein executed a successful onsider of his own, kick-rolling a ball ever slowly to the 10-yard threshold, and enabling C.J. Goodwin to pounce on the loose ball as soon as he became eligible to do so. Koo wasn't granted the opportunity to execute any special-teams miracles during the Week 2 loss, though he was flawless on his seven combined field goal and PATs. He is now 29-for-32 on field-goal tries in his Falcons career, heading into a Week 3 matchup against the Bears.

Impact Koo now has two missed PATs on nine attempts since Week 16 of last year, but he did deliver on yet another onside kick conversion in the season opener. The 26-year-old provided two successful onside kicks Nov. 28 but Atlanta came up just short of its second 2019 upset of New Orleans, and again Sunday his late-game heroics proved insufficient. Though the Falcons have dropped a third consecutive Week 1 game, Koo has at least converted on 13 of his past 14 field-goal tries.

Impact Quinn conceded that during a season played amidst a pandemic, it's especially crucial to have a contingency plan at every position. The coach mentioned that the Falcons may conduct workouts to "see where we're at" in terms of the kicker and punter positions, but he also stated that the team has been satisfied with Koo's performance thus far in camp. Koo put forth a solid showing during his debut campaign as Atlanta's place kicker in 2019, going 23-for-26 on field-goal attempts and 15-for-16 on extra-point tries.
