INJURIES

Hauls in five catches Sunday Robinson caught five of seven targets for 30 yards in Sunday's 26-14 loss to the Saints. He also added two rushing yards on his only carry.
Impact Jaxson Dart wasn't able to stretch the field much in his first game working without Malik Nabers (knee), and while tight ends Theo Johnson (6-33-2 on seven targets) and Daniel Bellinger (4-52-0 on four targets) saw more volume than usual, Robinson was able to get his share of those short passes as well. The veteran slot receiver has caught multiple passes in four of five games so far in 2025, posting a 23-267-1 line on 34 targets, and he should continue to have a solid PPR floor given the team's lack of other receiving options. However, Robinson may not have much of a ceiling in a Week 6 clash with the Eagles.

Saints' Rattler aims to end personal and team skids against the Giants and debut-winning Dart

Saints quarterback Spencer Rattler aims to achieve in his 11th career NFL start what Giants rookie Jaxson Dart did in his debut

Jaxson Dart Leads Giants to First Win in First Start, But It'll Get Tougher From Here

On Sunday, Jaxson Dart brought hope to a team starved for a win, but without WR Malik Nabers, the rookie QB could face daunting days ahead.

Jaxson Dart Leads Giants to First Win in First Start, But It'll Get Tougher From Here
Just three grabs Sunday Robinson caught three of five targets for 14 yards in Sunday's 21-18 win over the Giants.
Impact The five targets tied for the team lead with tight end Theo Johnson, but it was still disappointing volume for Robinson in Jaxson Dart's first career NFL start under center, especially considering that Malik Nabers (knee) was knocked out of the game in the second quarter. Nabers could have a torn ACL which would sideline him for the remainder of 2025, a brutal blow to the Giants offense that would leave Robinson and Darius Slayton atop the depth chart at WR. Robinson will take an 18-237-1 line on 27 targets into a Week 5 clash with the Saints, but the bulk of that production came Week 2 with Russell Wilson at the helm of the offense.

Held to one catch Robinson recorded one catch on four targets for 26 yards in Sunday's 22-9 loss to the Chiefs.
Impact The Giants' passing offense never got on track, limiting the production of the entire receiving corps. Robinson wasn't immune, turning in season-worst marks in every statistical category. Many of his targets were tightly contested -- including one that was picked off in double coverage -- and Robinson was hit hard over the middle on his lone catch of the night late in the fourth quarter. Positively, he should continue to maintain a significant role in the offense in Week 4 against the Chargers.

Cleared to face Chiefs Robinson (foot) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Chiefs, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Impact Robinson was a limited practice participant Wednesday and Thursday, having picked up a minor injury during his career-best performance Sunday against the Cowboys. While unlikely to approach last week's 8-142-1 receiving line, Robinson does actually offer some upside now that he's getting targets that aren't within five yards of the line of scrimmage.

Limited again Thursday Robinson (foot) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Impact Robinson continues to nurse a foot injury he evidently sustained during New York's loss to Dallas in Week 2, As long as he's able to log at least limited reps again Friday, though, Robinson seems like a solid candidate to gain clearance in time for Sunday night's home game against the Chiefs. Robinson has commanded a total of 18 targets across two regular-season appearances so far, and in Week 2 he translated 10 of those looks into a tremendous 8-142-1 receiving line.

Tending to foot issue Robinson was a limited practice participant Wednesday due to a foot injury, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Impact Robinson dealt with an ankle issue last week and now is tending to a new health concern as the Giants prep for Sunday's matchup with the Chiefs. During a Week 2 back-and-forth overtime loss at Dallas, Robinson handled a 70 percent snap share and reeled off eight catches (on 10 targets) for 142 yards and one touchdown, all of which were surpassed by No. 1 WR Malik Nabers' 9-167-2 line on 13 targets.
SEPTEMBER 17, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Career-best numbers in Dallas Robinson caught eight of 10 targets for 142 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 40-37 overtime loss to the Cowboys.
Impact During a wild seesaw affair in which Russell Wilson threw for 450 yards, Robinson set a new career high that shattered his previous best of 100 yards, which he recorded in Week 11 of his rookie season in 2022. The possession receiver has had a strong start to the current campaign, posting a 14-197-1 line on 18 targets, and if the Giants fall behind early he could be busy again in Week 3 against Kansas City.

Good to go Week 2 Robinson (ankle) is officially active for Sunday's game against the Cowboys.
Impact The 24-year-old was received the questionable tag after picking up an ankle injury in the season opener, but he'll be available for Sunday's divisional matchup in Dallas. Robinson played 76 percent of the offensive snaps Week 1 and showed a decent rapport with quarterback Russell Wilson, catching six of eight targets for 55 yards

Listed as questionable Robinson (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Cowboys, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Impact Fellow Giants wideouts Malik Nabers (back) and Darius Slayton (groin) don't have injury designations, leaving Robinson and LT Andrew Thomas (doubtful - foot) as the question marks for Big Blue's offense ahead of a 1 p.m. ET kickoff in Dallas. It looked like a good matchup for Robinson otherwise, with Cowboys slot corner DaRon Bland (foot) expected to miss multiple weeks.

Giants claim Xavier Gipson after costly fumble in Jets' loss, place Micah McFadden on IR

The New York Giants have claimed wide receiver and return specialist Xavier Gipson off waivers from the Jets
SEPTEMBER 11, 2025 • Associated Press
Practices in limited fashion Robinson (ankle) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Impact After playing 52 of the Giants' 68 snaps on offense and finishing with six catches for 55 yards on eight targets in this past Sunday's 21-6 loss to the Commanders, Robinson seemingly emerged from the contest with the ankle injury. The Giants held Robinson out of their first Week 2 practice Wednesday, but his ability to take some reps Thursday is a good sign for his chances of being available Sunday in Dallas. The Giants will wait and see if Robinson can upgrade to full participation in Friday's practice before deciding whether he'll take a designation into the weekend.

Practicing Thursday Robinson (ankle) participated in Thursday's practice, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Robinson was held out of drills Wednesday, which was three days removed from handling 52 of 68 offensive snaps, running 32 routes and racking up six catches (on eight targets) for 55 yards during this past Sunday's 21-6 loss at Washington. Top WR Malik Nabers (back) opened this week as limited and is expected to be a full participant Thursday, but it remains to be seen if Robinson also will be unhindered in the Giants' second session of Week 2 prep.

Misses practice with ankle injury Giants coach Brian Daboll said Wednesday that Robinson (ankle) will not practice, Patricia Traina of SI.com reports.
Impact Robinson played 76 percent of offensive snaps during the Giants' 21-6 loss to the Commanders in Week 1, in which he secured six of eight targets for 55 yards, but he appears to have picked up an ankle injury in the process. Daboll downplayed the severity of Robinson's injury however, per Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com, so as long as the No. 2 receiver is able to return to practice Thursday and/or Friday he should have a good chance to suit up Sunday on the road against Dallas. Russell Wilson has been confirmed as the starter again for Week 2, but if this offense isn't able to improve notably after having been limited to just 168 passing yards Week 1, the team could soon consider a shift to rookie first-rounder Jaxson Dart.
SEPTEMBER 10, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Six catches in Week 1 loss Robinson caught six of eight targets for 55 yards in Sunday's 21-6 loss to the Commanders.
Impact Robinson averaged 41.1 yards on 8.2 targets per game in 2024, so his Week 1 stat line wasn't far from his customary production. Whether the Giants stick with veteran Russell Wilson in Week 2 against the Cowboys or turn to rookie first-round pick Jaxson Dart under center after Sunday's ugly performance on offense, Robinson will continue to offer a high floor due to his significant involvement on short passes but have a limited ceiling due to his lack of downfield contributions.

Secures one catch Saturday Robinson hauled in one of two targets for six yards in Saturday's preseason 31-12 victory versus the Jets.
Impact As with most of New York's key players, Robinson's time on the field was brief -- he played just seven offensive snaps, a bit fewer than fellow WR roster locks Darius Slayton (10) and Jalin Hyatt (11). Nonetheless, Robinson was the only member of that trio to get multiple targets, and his lone catch came on a short hookup with Russell Wilson. Robinson got a healthy 140 targets and caught 93 of them last season, though he averaged only 7.5 YPC. Malik Nabers (toe/shoulder) hasn't yet played in a preseason game, and he's expected to get the lion's share of attention among New York's receiving corps again in 2025. That should leave Robinson, Slayton and (to a lesser extent) Hyatt competing for looks from a new QB room that features Wilson, Jameis Winston and rookie Jaxson Dart.
AUGUST 17, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Makes brief appearance Saturday Robinson caught his only target for 11 yards in Saturday's 34-25 preseason win over the Bills.
Impact Malik Nabers (shoulder) and Darius Slayton (undisclosed) were unavailable Saturday and Jalin Hyatt was also held out, leaving Robinson as the only established Giants wide receiver in the starting lineup for the team's exhibition opener. He was also the only wideout to catch a pass from Russell Wilson, as both of them checked out of the game after one drive. Robinson appears secure in his slot role, but after seeing a career-high 140 targets in 2024 and turning them into just 699 yards and three TDs on 93 catches, his volume is highly likely to regress, especially if rookie QB Jaxson Dart looks to push the ball downfield more often once he takes over the reins of the offense.
AUGUST 9, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Back on practice field Robinson (leg) has participated in training camp practices this week, Connor Hughes of SNY.tv reports.
Impact Robinson missed time earlier in training camp due to a minor leg injury, but he's resumed taking part in 11-on-11 drills as Saturday's preseason opener against the Bills approaches. It remains to be seen, however, whether New York's starters will be given the green light to suit up for action Saturday. Robinson's average depth of target in 2024 was a shocking 4.8 yards, which would be a low margin even for a tight end, but having Russel Wilson locked in under center to kick off the 2025 campaign will provide him an opportunity to improve his efficiency. That said, the 5-foot-8 slot specialist will be a candidate to see his target volume decline after drawing 140 looks across his 17 regular-season appearances last season.
