Impact Swoopes spent the last few weeks of the 2020 season on Washington's practice squad, but he wasn't called up to the active roster. The 26-year-old tight end last played in 2019 with the Seahawks, and he has just seven NFL games on his resume through four years in the league.

Joins Washington's practice squad Swoopes signed with Washington's practice squad Wednesday.

Impact Swoopes suited up in a combined seven regular-season games for Seattle between 2017 and 2019, but he only managed a total of two receptions for 28 yards on 109 offensive snaps. The 26-year-old is joined by Dylan Cantrell, as Washington decided to add a pair of former Big 12 pass catchers to its practice squad Wednesday.

Out of Philly Swoopes was waived by the Eagles on Thursday.

Impact Swoopes signed with the team only a week ago but already finds himself on the outs as the Eagles made their first wave of cuts Thursday. The former Seahawk prides himself as being a run-blocking tight end and his veteran experience could help him secure a landing spot elsewhere before Week 1.
