Ty Pezza - NFL News, Rumors, & Updates | FOX Sports

Signed to Baltimore's practice squad The Ravens signed Pezza to the practice squad Monday, Ryan Mink of the team's official site reports.

Impact Pezza was signed by the Ravens as an undrafted free agent in May and entered training camp competing for a depth spot at tight end. He didn't crack the 53-man roster, but he impressed the coaching staff enough to be invited to stay in Baltimore as a member of the practice squad. The Ravens are carrying four tight ends on the active roster, so Pezza would be a top candidate to be elevated from the practice squad if Baltimore needed more depth at the position for game day.

Getting cut by Baltimore The Ravens are waiving Pezza, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.

Impact Pezza went undrafted back in April but landed with Baltimore in May as a rookie free agent. He proceded to haul in seven of eight targets for 69 yards across three preseason contests before getting cut. Considering his impact in those games, though, Pezza may garner some interest as teams begin to construct practice squads in the coming days.

Headed to Baltimore The Ravens signed Pezza as an undrafted free agent Friday, Justin Robertson of the team's official site reports.

Impact Pezza played his college ball at Brown, catching 46 passes for 599 yards and seven touchdowns over 10 games in his senior season. The Ravens will provide the tight end with a good chance to prove his NFL upside as they look at replacements for Isaiah Likely and Charlie Kolar, who both departed in free agency.
