Records first catch of season Sherfield caught his only target for six yards during Sunday's 30-10 road win versus the Jets.

Impact Sherfield logged a season-high nine snaps on offense and 13 on special teams on his way to his first target (and reception) of the campaign. Still, he rang in fifth in offensive snap share among Cardinals wide receivers, exhibiting his standing with the unit.

Sticking primarily to special teams Sherfield logged one snap on offense and 13 plays on special teams during Sunday's 26-23 defeat to the Lions.

Impact Sherfield has yet to record a touch or target, but his work on special teams has been consistent. On Sunday in particular, he had a tackle on a kick return and downed a punt at Detroit's nine-yard line. Having said that, Sherfield has received just eight offensive snaps through three games, despite KeeSean Johnson spending the first two contests on the reserve/COVID-19 list and Christian Kirk (groin) sitting out Week 3. It appears Sherfield will require multiple injuries to wide receivers at the same time to make an impact on offense.

Little chance to contribute Sunday Sherfield logged two snaps on offense and 15 special-teams plays during Sunday's 24-20 win in San Francisco.

Impact Sherfield's sole contribution in the play-by-play log was a downed punt in the middle of the third quarter. Moving forward, he'll have difficulty eking out chances on offense due to the presence of DeAndre Hopkins, Larry Fitzgerald and Christian Kirk at the top of the wide receiver depth chart, and Andy Isabella occupying the No. 4 spot. Expect Sherfield to continue being a regular on special teams, however.
